Yes! As you'll see during registration, our programs are divided into age-based groups. If your child and their friend or sibling fall within the same age group, you can ensure they're together by simply enrolling them in the same GROUP. However, we aren’t able to place siblings or friends in different age groups together, unless an older child is willing to join the younger age group (although this isn't recommended). This structure helps us create the best experience for all participants while maintaining a safe and supportive environment!
For example:
SURF Program // GROUP A OR BEACH Program Mini Groms // GROUP C
We understand that groups can fill up quickly, and it may not always be possible to register them together in the same group. However, we strive to honor grouping requests and ensure that every child is placed with at least one friend. If we happen to miss your request, please speak with your Location Director on site, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.
Parent Note: The curriculum is the same in each group. Over the years, we’ve found that kids thrive when they’re part of small, consistent groups throughout the week. This structure allows for more focused, individualized instruction, helps campers build stronger connections with their coaches and teammates, and gives them a clear sense of who to go to for questions, guidance, or support. It also contributes to a safer, more comfortable environment where kids feel confident and cared for.
That said, even though groups are separated for things like morning check-in, roll call, sunscreen breaks, and grabbing snacks or lunch, campers spend plenty of time interacting with other groups during games and water time. Once they’ve picked up their snack or lunch, they’re also welcome to hang out with friends from other groups. So don’t worry if your child isn’t in the exact same group as all their friends — they’ll still get lots of time together and make even more along the way!
